From Phuket: Khao Lak Fairytales – Sunrise over the Bay and Elephants

An excellent excursion. Our guide, Alina, accompanied us and shared a wealth of information about the elephants and Thailand in general. She pointed out the best spots for photos and even took pictures of the tourists herself. She answered every question and made sure to give her attention to absolutely everyone. The locations themselves are stunning; there wasn’t a single dull moment. Thanks to Alina, we were among the first to get onto the glass bridge. Thank you so much! We went on the "Tales of Khao Lak" tour. It was a very interesting excursion featuring a variety of locations and activities—from sunrise at the bay and a long-tail boat ride to meeting ostriches and swimming in a waterfall. We went on the “Khao Lak Fairy Tales” tour with our guide, Andrey. There were three of us—two adults and a child—and the day turned out to be truly magical. The sunrise on the glass bridge was particularly memorable: watching the first rays of the sun bathe Phang Nga Bay in gold makes you realize exactly why people travel to places like this. Our guide shared everything in a lively way—avoiding dry facts in favor of engaging stories that you really want to listen to. The itinerary was perfectly balanced, offering both active moments (elephant riding, bamboo rafting) and time to simply sit back and admire the scenery. Our child especially loved feeding, riding, and bathing with the elephants. Swimming at the waterfall was a highlight, too—the water was cool and incredibly refreshing after such a busy day. The seafood lunch was delicious and filling. I also want to highlight the organization: the transfer was comfortable, the group was small, and no one was ever rushed. Everything ran right on schedule but without any sense of haste. I definitely recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see the “real” Khao Lak and make some wonderful memories. Another important point: we were the first to arrive at every location—no crowds, no pushing or shoving—it was all fantastic.
