Description

Similan LIGHT is an author trip by Tisland Travel to the Similan Islands: Sail Rock hike and Donald Duck Bay on Island 8, snorkelling at Islands 7 and 9, lunch and beach time on Island 4. The boat leaves at 06:00. This trip does not guarantee that you will be the first on the islands.

Programme:

  • Pick-up from hotels in Phuket; the time depends on your area.
  • 06:00 Departure to sea.
  • 07:20–08:40 Island No. 8 (Koh Similan): beach time, hike to Sail Rock (panoramic views), Donald Duck Bay.
  • 08:40 Departure from the island.
  • Snorkelling at Islands 7 and 9: two stops of 35 minutes each, coral reefs and marine life.
  • 10:40–13:20 Island No. 4 (Koh Miang): lunch and time to relax on the island.
  • 13:20 Departure from the island.
  • 14:40 Return to the pier.
  • 15:10 Transfer to the hotels.

Important to know

  • The islands are open to visitors from October 15 to May 15.
  • Children's ticket for ages 4-11 inclusive. Free for children up to 3 years old (no separate seat in the minivan).
  • The tour program may change depending on weather conditions, tides, and ebbs.
  • Pregnant women, children under 1 year old, and people with back and neck problems are not allowed on the excursion.
  • Smoking and drinking alcohol are prohibited on the islands (fine 5 000-20 000 baht).
